NEWS AND UPDATES

Congratulations to the following who completed titles in 2012!

City finished her Grand Championship when awarded her fifth grand champion major, at the Westchester Kennel Club show, under breeder judge Larry Berg, handled by 16 year old Rachel Ertle (who was filling in for Jessica Plourde)! Rachel was busy in another ring at the time of the photograph, so many thanks to my daughter Danielle  for stepping in to take the photo (Danielle  had herself handled a beautiful Copper Creek boy  named Mongo (out of Ripley x Vola) to WD/BOW that same day).

CH SZIZLIN'S BRISBANE AIN'T SHE ENDEAR'N (Brisbane, out of Dezso x Manda) won her third major and finished her  championship under Judge Jay Richardson at the Springfield Circuit in August. Brisbane is one of those vizslas who really does not like the show ring - when taking the finishing picture, the judge noted that she really was not doing much to help herself in the stack, but her movement was undeniable, and she finished in style with a 3 point major, WB/BOW with a BOS over special. Many thanks to Richard Bennington-Grant for all his work with Brisbane! and to my daughter Danielle & junior handler Caitlin for putting the finishing points on her while Richard was in Canada.

CH SZIZLIN'S THEY CALL ME CITORI (Citori, out of JB x Ptorrie) won her fourth major and finished her  championship under Judge Terry Stacy at the CVVC Supported Entry at the Longshore Southport Kennel Club show in June. Beautifully Presented by Richard Bennington.

Pictured above going BOB under Judge Pat Trotter a few weeks later.

CH SZIZLIN AUTUMN'S JOY KAYA HAPPY TAILS JH (Kaya, out of Ivan x Ruffian) finished her championship on March 18, 2012 under Judge Ann Yuhasz - winning three more majors at the Celtic Cluster  in PA.  Kaya is owned by Alice Chaikin and presented beautifully by Michelle Porfido. Kaya went on to earn her JH title shortly thereafter and won Best of Breed and Group 2 at the CVVC Supported Entry at the Longshore Southport Kennel Club show in June under Judge Terry Stacy.
