PTOPPIR

Ptoppir was first born in the 1997 breeding of Raisa x Taylor, a litter of six boys and two girls (Topper & Squirtisha who later became Kia) - hence she was the litter topper! Unable to agree upon a different name than her litter name, we kept the topper idea but jazzed it up a bit! Ptoppir! Like her mom Raisa, Ptoppir was as sweet as the day long - she always had to have a toy in her mouth and she wiggled her entire body furiously while making moaning sounds! She was one very happy girl with very nice range in the field and a lot of style on point. In the show ring, she would only tolerate minimal handling - it became a joke that whenever any vizsla was giving a handler a hard time, they should "Ptoppir him or her", which meant hands off! Despite this, Ptoppir always cooperated and was a perfect juniors dog for Barry (and sometimes Danielle). Ptoppir had the patience of a saint - never a cross word for any dog - her daughter Manda taunted  her mercilessly and stole toys and bones right out of her mouth and Ptoppir just let her do it!  She was a gem. After Carol finished Ptoppir's championship, she did limited local showing as a special with Jessica Plourde, who always presented her beautifully!! Ptoppir excelled as a producer and was a phenomenal mom - and has many beautiful offspring who have been bred down and are carrying her forward.
